I was at a cheerleading competition yesterday and theres an all star team called Prairie Fire, but they were placed in the elementary division. There was this one team was really good, great stunts, very sharp dances, and they were all smiling. I thought for sure they would win. Then, out of 10 teams, they got 7th. I wondered how this could be, and then I found out that all but one of the judges were associated with prairie fire in some way. (One was a coach of prairie fire, another was on the team, etc...) Prairie fire, well they only did thighstands and one double base. (For non-cheerleaders, and thigh stand is when the person who goes up in a stunt stands on two peoples bent legs.) I couldnt hear their cheer, and no one was smiling. Prairie fire won 2nd place! Coincidence? I think not. How could the judges be so unfair?
