k so i bought an iphone off my friend and from other answers off this site, apparently i can't put my own sim card in. Thanks to a lot of users, i have gotten a few websites with jailbreaks or unlocks, but i'm also wondering (since i can't go to the store because it might be under my friends name), can i restore the iphone, then unlock it. Or if i decide to jailbreak/unlock it, DO I HAVE TO DO THAT BEFORE I PUT MY SIM CARD IN OR AFTER?!?!?! THANKS
