all the passports with visas except mine? My wife applied for immigration category Iv. On 5 th of August 2009 at the time of interview the Visa Officer returned our passports alongwith a green letter and purple token and instructed us to wait for the call. On 24/09/2009 the embassy informed us that your case is cleared now and ready for visas. Submit your passports. We sent the passport through courrier. On 10/10/2009 an offical from American Express told us to collect the passport. We are little bit disappointed to learn that all passports came back duly stamped with visas except mine. On inquiry the embassy told us that the case is still pending for administrative processing. I wonder why they called for my passport if my case was still pending? Can any body guide me?

Request for Help

Hi Rashid,
This is Ahmad and I had a similar situation like yours. My US VISA application was processed on Toronto after 6 month and the US embassy asked me to give them my passport on Nov 10th 2009. I gave them my passport and I did not receive any news from them so I made an inquiry but they told me that my case is in PENDING. I read your post on the forum and found some similarities. Rashid, that would be great, if you could inform me about your case and help me schedule my trip to the US because initially I had a plan to go there on 20th December 2009 but it seems that something might not go well with my plan. You could reply me through this thread or directly send me at [email protected]
Thanks in advance
Regards
Ahmad R
