Using coal tar shampoo (Polytar)?

My doctor has recommended using a coal tar shampoo for the psoriasis on my scalp - I'm using Polytar - but I didn't think to ask what type of shampoo I should use alongside it, as I'm only meant to use the Polytar twice a week. Should I carry on using the anti-dandruff shampoo I was using before, or would I be better using a more natural product like Dr Organic tea tree shampoo? Or would something else be better?

Its possible that the coal tar will clear up the psoriasis after a few weeks, and you might not need other medicated shampoos. Tea tree oil can make psoriasis better or worse. You won't know what works best until you try it.
