Using headset mic as input, and stereo speakers as output?

I am currently using an old PS2 microphone (USB) for playing Team Fortress Two. I'd like to know if there is any way to have my mic headset only be used as a mic and not have the game audio playback on the headset (I'd rather have the game audio play on the speakers). Is there any way to do this?
