Using Motorola Talkabout walkie talkie in India.?

I am planning on buying a "Motorola MR-350R Talkabout 2-Way Radio 35-Mile Range" walkie talkie for the media company I work with. I have sourced a dealer on ebay international for the same.
Can these walkie talkie be used in India? what legal permissions will I need to operate them?
