downloaded 100% / availability 1.0
0 hash fails
downloaded 150kb / uploaded 0 B
download speed / upload speed 0
seeds: 0 of 42 connected (54 in swarm)
peers: 0 if 17 connected (0 in swarm)

i have successfully converted the file and transferred to my device.

Torrents is what I started out using but then I moved on to direct downloading. With this information you have told me that you have downloaded a 150kb file and is done downloading. Seeding is what is refereed to in my option a way for others to download the file off your computer and you are uploading the file to there computer. you have not uploaded any of the file you have downloaded and it seems that utorrent is about to try to upload the file you downloaded. Seeding or uploading the file keeps the file alive so that other may download the file. If you want to try something else out try this site tehparadox.com it is free and takes maybe an hour to get use to it.

Seeding takes ages. No joke, you might celebrate your next birthday by the time it's done. Basically it means in lamen's terms: (uploading) sending it back to where you got it from to make it faster for others to download. You should seed only if you want to, but no one will know YOU didn't seed. They will only know that tons of people didn't seed by waiting just as long to download as you must wait for the torrent to seed.

To seed really doesn't lessen the speed anything else you download, unless your total upload (from the one you're seeding + whatever other ongoing downloads you have) is using up the majority of your bandwidth. Determine bandwidth here: http://www.bandwidthplace.com/

For an easy, worry free solution, you can seed when you aren't downloading, i.e. when you go to sleep.
