Vacations in the US in April?

My hubby and I are dieing to go on vacation this April. We want to stay in the US and we want somewhere that will be cold (I've never seen snow before and would love that if there is still somewhere with snow in April!). Somewhere all-inclusive would be awesome, but I'm open to bed and breakfasts too. We're thinking Vermont, Rhode Island, Maryland, etc. But we're also thinking about New Mexico and Arizona (I know, very conflicting!).

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
