I have what I hope is a simple question to answer. My building in Chelsea is wired for Time Warner Cable, which I have. My neighbor wants to switch to Verizon internet. She said that Verizon is mailing her their modem, and it is as simple as that. My question is....will her internet signals come through her Verizon telephone line? Are the Verizon telephone lines equipped to handle telephone AND internet ? I assumed that Verizon would have to visit her home and start drilling, pulling cables through her wall, etc? I mean, that's what Time Warner did many years ago when they wired the entire building. I am confused about this. Thanks.
