So, my upgrade will be coming up by Christmas time and I have two phones in mind.
The first one is the LG Ally, im very interested in it because its a keyboard phone and it seems to fit me well and I enjoy its technology and how it works.
Here is a link to the picture of it :

and the second choice is the Droid, yes I know most of you will say that the Droid is a better choice, because plenty of people have it.

But i need your honest opinions and if you own either of these phones, if you have experienced any problems with either of them that you may have. So I can narrow down the choices and see which one would be better,
Please tell me :D

If you want a big screen, get the Droid X. If not, get the Incredible. Both have 1GHz processors compared to the Ally's slower 600MHz processor. Both have 8MP cameras compared to the Ally's 3.2MP camera. Both record HD (720p) video while the Ally only shoots VGA (480p) video. Both have 512MB of RAM compared to the Ally's 256MB. Both have Android 2.2 (Froyo) while the Ally is on 2.1.

Both cost more.

My wife actually just upgraded from the Ally to the Droid. She says its loads better and absolutely loves it. To put this into perspective, before she got the phone she told me she had no use for a smart phone because she couldn't understand why she would need her phone to look things up. Now, she does it all the time. Easy to learn, simple, and the only problem is battery life (drained quickly if you have lots of apps open).

I'm a vzw customer up for renewel in Jan, and given that the low end phones really, really stink and you'll be paying for the data plan pretty much regardless (VZW your so lucky your coverage kicks butt or I'd be on t-mobile right now) then I'd go with the droid. I don't have one personally, but a close friend does and he's steadily converting me to it, good phone, fairly easy to use, I still hate the touchscreen, but thats just me.. I've got a Chocolate 2 right now (the flip version) and LG really lost me with that phone, as in design its everything I need, but its an unreliable hunk of garbage, therefore, the safer bet I think is the droid.

For the record, my friend has had his droid now for quite a while (almost a year) and has not had any problems with it..
