On the 18th of February my contract with Verizon will be expired. I am on the family share plan with my parents currently. I plan on getting the I Phone 5 but I have a few questions. Would it be cheaper/better to get the I phone 5 through Verizon and stay with Verizon on the family share plan? Would it be cheaper/better to buy the I phone 5 on like Amazon for example then stay on the contract with the family share plan? Or if I buy the I Phone 5 through Verizon OR Amazon and then do a prepaid contract through Verizon?
I really need someones advice and knowledge about which way would be cheaper. I've done some research but I'm not finding the answers to my questions. I would prefer to stay with Verizon as my carrier and get the I Phone 5 as my new phone.

Definatly get the iphone through verizon, with the upgrade it only costs $200, but amazon it will cost almost full retail ($700), as of prepaid vs family plan, that is something that you need to decide on based on how much you use your phone. With prepaid if you go through a bunch of data, minutes, and texts a month then family plan will be better for you, but at the same time, prepaid will keep you from going over minutes, texts, and data and paying their outrageous prices per megabit, text, and minute you go over. So that is something you need to decide what is better for you.
