Hello everyone, I recently downloaded steam and then downloaded the left 4 dead 2 demo to try it out, before I bought it for my pc, which is my laptop. And I started up the demo and it said,
"Your video card does not appear in our database, consequently you may or may not be able to play game with sufficient stability or performance. We would appreciate your help and ensuring that we have sufficient information to address your video card and driver in the future, by clicking upload details button you will help us track which video cards are currently missing for our database"
I clicked the upload details button and it did nothing. So i started up the game and the intro video looked great and then the menu was good, and I started up the game, and the graphics were pretty blurry and it was laggy. Then I choose the Resolution 1280x720, it was on 1280x600. And that's the only two resolutions i could choose. Then the Ratio aspect is on normal 4:3, there is two more ration options, wide screen 16:9, 16:10. Now the graphics are good, its just really laggy, only when the zombies start rushing and a lot of movement going on. When i'm standing and there is nothing around I can shoot and its smooth. But when it lags everything is all slow and shooting in slow motion and its really annoying.
I just tried to put the screen to window size and it was still lagging. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I don't have a video card or my laptop just isn't made for playing games?
Here is my laptop details :
Gateway
Model: M-7315U
Processors: Intel (R). Pentium Duel. CPU T3200 @ 2.000GHz 2.00GHz
Memory: 4.00GB
System type: 64-bit
I think thats it, please someone tell me what I have to do to stop it from lagging.
