Vinnie Vincent, a former guitarist for KISS, has been arrested for aggravated assault. He was arrested in Tennessee and was held on a $10k bond until he posted it this morning. The 58-year-old, who is a songwriter in addition to playing the guitar, is best known for replacing Ace Frehley of KISS.
The details of the assault haven’t been released. Vinnie Vincent is expected back in court soon.
In addition to his work with kiss, Vinnie Vincent is best known for putting together the heavy metal band “Vinnie Vincent Invasion”. Formed after he left KISS, “Vinnie Vincent Invasion” was together for five years and put out two albums.
“I felt like I was imprisoned in a small cubicle,” said Vinnie Vincent about why he left KISS, “like it was someone else’s house.”
