What are good places to visit when going to Hollywood and Beverly Hills (but only for 1 day)??????????

Hollywood BLVD.
Sunset.
Canter's Deli on Fairfax.
Breakfast? The Original Pantry Downtown.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame, can be fun.
Even the Subway, is kind of cool.
I would avoid the "Hard Rock Cafe" it is kind of a rip the same way 'Hooters" is a rip.
The food is around the quality of ball park food, at fancy restaurant pricing.
I would suggest, to you, that if you were in the area for one day?
Plan out a trip, that inculdes a visit to Redondo Beach "King Harbor", and Santa Monica, 3rd Street Promenade.
Hollywood, is kind of over rated.
If you wanted the most bang for your buck, with the least amount of driving?
Try visiting the Pantry for breakfast, head to 7th street, take the subway to historic Union Station, grab a cup of joe, and by ten, walk across the street to Olvera Street. Take your time, perhaps the glass blower, will be doing his thing, and the Mariachi's will be doing their thing. Grab some snacks or lunch, then it is a short walk to Chinatown. Peruse the sites and sounds of the orient, for the afternoon, and then get some great Chinese food, before heading out.
I think the Downtown thing, would be the most culturally satisfying, visit, for a one day thing.
