i just installed the latest vista transformation pack (the one for xp sp3). i'm using an xp home os.

after i uninstalled it, some components still remained like the transparency, the clock at the right side of the screen (with the cpu gauge and a calendar), and not to mention, when i click start, the icons that appear are extremely huge

i tried system restore and it didn't work.

i checked the registry editor, and i found that some of the components of the transformation pack are in there...

how do i remove all of that? i'm a bit wary of editing the registry since i have very little experience with it...i would appreciate your help. thanks a lot

The "cpu gauge and a calender" is Windows Sidebar. You'd have to delete/uninstall that. As for the icons, right click on the toolbar and hit properties. Go to startmenu and hit customize, scroll to the bottom and uncheck USE LARGE ICONS -or- choose CLASSIC START MENU.
