i have a volkswagen gti 2001. 1.8L AWD engine. i took out the spark plugs and the gap was .042. they where NGK bkr6e spark plugs.
what should be the gap for the spark plug?
my question is will i get better performance if i where to buy better spark plugs.
for example, i was thinking of buying NGK Iridium IX spark plugs or NGK V-power racing.
would i see a difference or should i just stick to the originals?
i put some AUTOLITE brand spark plugs and my performance decreased.
