I got a 93 jetta vr6 one morning when i started it up it acted like it had a misfire .It was raining out side and thought a short ride would clear it up. Then the engine light came on with flash code 2213 (cam sensor) ,2231(idle air control)and 2324 (mass air flow) so i checked for air leaks and tested for voltage and resistance ...The IAC was not buzzing like its suppose to, Resistance was 7 (6 to 12) is target so i got another one it tested at 9.. changed the wires and plugs Next i cleared the codes and ran it 2231 came back and 4413 fuel inj #3 so i checked fuel pressure it was 58 rite on the head but with the engine off pressure fell fast (open injector) cleared the codes then 2231 and now 2341 (O2) wile i was reading my VW bible i read that the ect(engine coolant temp) sensor controls it all ..could this be my original problem .my temp gage never gets past 160 unless its sitting still (open thermostat ) oil temp is 196 and my fan run after shut off stopped working too..If at the least can someone refer me to a shop close to hammond indiana 46324
