VW new beetle 1.8Turbo high coolant temperature lamp flashing !!!?
WHAT CAN CAUSE THAT ??
I GOT ENOUGH G12 COOLANT.
ENOUGH MOTOR OIL
I WAS THINKING MAY BE A WATER PUMP DIE ( BUT MILEAGE ONLY 56K MILES)
DONT KNOW WATS WRONG !!!
Blow water pumps are almost a given on a VW (at any mileage) but a bad water pump is unlikely to register on the temp guage or warning light. This is due to the appallingly poor location of the Coolant Temp Sensor. Coolant will start boiling out the reservoir but the engine temp will still read normal. More likely this is a T-stat problem.
