My HD crapped out a few months back and I finaly got a great deal on a HD for a replacement. Only problem is that it is a W.D. 250GB SATA hard drive and my old pc has an IDE connection on the MB !!I have found, sata to ide conversion adapters for the cables(15$- whats the quality of these?? Do they work ok?), pci/sata cards (70-80$), or just get a new MB. What is the best hardware to get in this situation? Is there anything else that I can get? Any help would be great. Thx.

a Sata card is definitely cheaper than a new motherboard and allot less complicated.
