I received txt messg with a phote attached, now when I try to open up my other contacts and edit a contact ( not from person who sent the text), the photo that came with the text shows up. I deleted the text which the phote came from and, I have looked under downloads, photos, and file manager and cant find that photo to delete.....yikes.

have you tried setting a different contact photo it should overwrite it?
