After hearing about Jade's recent Cancer battle, I just hope that those bullies who crucified her following the NON-RACIST comment on BB can sleep at night. I work with with a big amount of Asian people and after talking to them every one of them said "Racism? what Racism? she was only referring to the food that we eat. and we are proud to have that noted"
Jade was simply pointing out to the Asian lady that because she is a Bollywood star she should not expect any favouritism. This was quickly jumped on by the various quarters. Now, what if say, for example George Clooney or Madonna were in the BB house? Jade would have said the same thing, and probably made a joke up about American Steaks or something to that effect. Thats the way Jade is.
I have always liked Jade, and always found her to be very jolly and down to earth. She is full of fun. Substitute the word RACE for SNOBBERY. That exists more on TV than race problems.
I once read a newspaper which described Jade as a "Common, big-mouthed ugly troll" and I take exception to this more than I do in the race issue. Take a look at television these days and you will see just how image-conscious it is. Michelle Mcmanus is one example. When she won that Tv Talent show a few years back certain quarters kicked up a stink because she wasnt slim and gorgeous. The adverts always have a young good looking couple on and when someone like Jade Goody appears she is a sacrificial lamb with insults about her looks and excuses to pick on her at every turn.
With Jade you know where you stand. She is loud but she would rather tell you what she thinks about you to your face and not behind your back. I just love the lady and I am devastated with the news of her health.
