I had the "In Steps" cd years ago and the albums sounds almost like a Hard Rock album than anything else...almost like an AC/DC album.
---------------

naps with cats--> Crossroads? I began to see the beginning of it but was not able to finish it. It did seem like a great film, I just have never found the time to rent it and see it in is entirety.

he was one of those guys who could do both, and do them well. the majority of his albums have a more bluesy feel to them, but the rock definitely comes through.

damn helicopters.

try "Texas Flood" then you will definetly say the blues

Hw was a new gateway for the blues that never had a chance to come full circle. RIP SRV.

naps with cats....that was not SRV, it was Steve Vai BTW.

and Steve Vai is a cool dude who played for David Lee Roth, Whitesnake and a Frank Zappa style solo career.
