Was the Hardy rumor from years ago true?

Okay.. There's been something that I've been trying to figure out for a while. Anyone know what WWE is? World Wrestling Entertainment. I'm a Hardy fan but I barely remember anything from the time with Team X-Treme considering I was so young. I know that Matt & Lita were together on wwe, and I believe they were together in real life. But I've heard a lot about that Lita cheated on Matt with Edge and I was just wondering if that happened in real life or if it were just a storyline. If it was just a storyline, does anyone know how they broke up? -Thanks!
