Was this a dream? Should I be concerned?

It felt SO real. Here was my dream...

I was just lying in my bed at night, (just as I was in real life), except I was awake. I couldn't speak, I couldn't move. All I could do is lay there. It was terrifying. I tried to call for help, only to realize that I couldn't breathe. I was gasping, but failing at catching my breath. It was so scary. I was just laying in my bed, feeling like I was having what I can only describe as a seizure.

I woke up the following morning, and I was extremely exhausted and thirsty. I'm pretty sure this was a dream... but I'm not entirely sure because it felt pretty real. What should I do? Is this something I should be concerned about?

Also, if it was a dream, what could it mean? Does this seizure I had in my dream symbolize anything?

This is sleep paralysis, if you are close to your Faith it can be cured, by drinking holy water or whatever it is your Faith supports for safety and goodnight's sleep.

If you aren't the spiritual kind, then let your family doctor know about it. They do an overnight testing at the hospital to study your brain waves- but don't be too concerned its usually never a medical thing, just psychological.
