Was up with my T-mobile 1$ plan?

Alrigh so I use the 10 refill card n I use da 1 dollar plan with unl txt n 10c min. Sometime I don't use my cell so I don't txt or call someone. But wen I do my friends tell me dey txt me n I wouldn't answer. But I can reiceive calls if dey do try too sometime I don't use answer cuz I 10c ain't worth it. But ill txt dem n once I do I get charge. N da unl is active. So all I wanna kno can I receive msgs even though I'm not using my cell ? I use my lil bro cell to txt mine but I don't reiceive any n before I would somhow anybody experience dis?
 
I was under the impression that if the phone was off for one full day or more than 24 hours straight, you are NOT charged that day's amount.

If the phone is powered on the following day and a text sent on the previous day comes in, that should trigger the $2.00 debit once the text comes in. You should not have to pay the $2.00 if the phone is powered off for an entire day.
