Washing my daughters hair without screams and tears?

My nanny and I, have tried everything in the bathtub. We are thinking of having our nanny wash my hair in the kitchen sink while lying on my back. Then take my year old wash her hair. Then having me wash my nanny's hair, then do my 5 year old, atthe kitchen sink. Is this a good idea? Any other suggestions?
 
yeah that sounds like a good idea.
while doing that say that its really fun and coax her into doing it too
 
Try putting a wash cloth over her face, that is how my little brother used to do it, and it helped alot because it didn't get soap in his eyes.

Also maybe try one of those hat things that catches the water so that the soap doesn't get in her eyes.
