...passport valid.? Some one said the passport has to have an expiration of six months or more from date of travel well be away 2 weeks only
 
yes they are but call the agency just in case you need a renewal if your staying in spain for a while

It should be valid, but if you aren't sure, contact the Spanish consulate and the US State Department.
