We have an assembly about nutrition at school tomorrow?

I'm just wondering whether I should yell at the guy speaking directly from the bleachers or wait until after to crush him in a debate. I truly, 100% believe that a low-carb high-fat Paleo diet is the single, solitary best diet you could ever go on. i believe that wheat destroys your body, and absolutely nobody should eat it. I believe polyunsaturated fats and trans fats are just about on the same level and saturated fat is natural, healthy, and vital for living. So, my views are going to COMPLETELY contradict the assembly speaker's views. Again, do you think it's worth yelling at him in front of the entire school, or should i wait and hope I get a chance to set him straight afterwards? I'm a very good debtor, and trust me if I get a chance to talk to him he'll agree with me eventually just to make me shut up :)
Excuse me? You don't even know me! I NEVER keep my mouth shut! Never! Why should i start now? I have very strong opinions and I absolutely NEVER keep them to myself.

is there are particular reason why you would want to argue with him? it makes you seem like you have nothing better to talk about... and these people are employed to talk about certain things, i bet they see thousands of people like you, and may or may not agree with you, but are paid to say certain things. honestly, i would just say, keep your mouth shut even if you disagree and find something better to do.

Well, this is more of an etiquette question. You should not interrupt him during his presentation, and probably not after the assembly either. If you interrupt him, the individuals attending the event will be less likely than ever to try to lose weight because they are hearing such conflicting messages from the weight loss crowd. Most medical experts do agree with the presenter, so just hold your opinion in and/or just share it with your friends at the event; not everyone needs to hear your message.

Go right ahead- either way, YOU will be the one to get "crushed." He (or she- most Registered Dieticians are women) is an educated expert on the subject, whereas you are a misinformed "believer" who is only regurgitating (pun intended) what others have told you- those others being about as misinformed as you. Put another way, RD's opinions are based on scientific study, "nutritionists" are unlicensed, self-proclaiming hucksters who are only in it for the money. Basically, ANYBODY can call themselves a "nutritionist," but you must hold the proper degree AND pass a test to be a RD. RD's know their stuff, and have heard it all from know-it-alls like you, several times.

So, sure- go ahead- yell your fool head off, and embarrass yourself. It does not matter if you are a "good debater-" you will get slaughtered. I only wish I could see it.
