Horrible description coming:
I read this webcomic a few years back. In the beginning the style is very poor and just bad looking. It starts off with this guy who is depressed. I recall he had purple hair. Through out the comic it gets way better and the style is AMAZING later on. I know the series was completed but I would love to read it again. I know the comic seemed average at first then things got a bit supernatural. I'll try and add more details if I can remember more.
Oh and before anyone says anything its NOT el goonish shive. It was a way different theme and style
