Ive been on enough diets and know what to do: low fat/ calories, high fiber, etc. However, most diets restrict you more. Weight Watchers seems to easy, but then again maybe that is why it is so successful.

I have some serious baby weight to lose and thought weight watchers was realistic with my busy day.

1. Is there a specific list of foods I should avoid? Ive only seen just to eat the 5 fruits/veggies, 1 protein, fiber and good oil. I just cant use to the ease of this diet after torching myself on others.

2. Do I limit the sweets to once a week? I have a terrible sweet tooth and usually curb it with a sugar free fudge pop in the evening. Should something like that be cut back?

3. I know, I know, Diet Coke it bad, but it is my one vice and it is 0 points. Is it ok after my 8 glasses of water! Diet Coke is what usually keeps me from eating!

3. Do you have other advice for a newbie or useful websites?

I'm on WW and I love it. You can eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your points and stay balanced of course. If you have extra points then portion out your snack to it. I love 100 calories pack snacks they are only two pts a pack and come in all kinds. You should really only have one can of coke a day. It can count toward your water count. Make sure you exercise for at least 30 mins 3-5 times a week even if you are just walking with your baby around the neighborhood or park. Avoid foods with lots of salt just bc it can make you retain water. Make sure you switch up what you eat so you don't get board. I love laughing cow cheese wedges LITE they are only 1 point and I eat it with a few triscuits for a snack and some grapes too all the is only 3 pts. Find snack that you like in advance so you don't just eat whatever when you're hungry. I love WW its a great way to not just diet but live. I lost weight on it and still haven't gained it back. It teaches you portion control. I hope I helped. Take care!
