Okay, I don't think this has ever happened to anyone else in the world before, I have 52' inch Sony HD 1080p TV, original PS3, and Directv box (both hooked up by HDMI). Whenever I'm watching TV and unplug my PS3 I lose signal, it says Searching for satellite signal in 1.. 711. and if I just touch the HDMI able to any exposed metal on the TV it comes in agin. One of my uncles works on computers, has the same TV, and has built PCs before and says its the weirdest thing he's ever seen, my other uncles has a PS3, is in college majoring in IT and said the same thing, he was messing with it and the PS3 shocked him by putting his arm on top. Also if you unplug the PS3 main power supply from the wall it still loses signal. I've tried replacing the PS3 with a Blu-Ray player and same HDMI cable and it wouldn't work. Sometimes if I'm watching an HD channel and unplug it it will continue streaming but when I swith to a non HD channel it wont work. i called Sony and they thought it was a joke, I also have a Wii, and Dreamcast hooked up to my TV if that matters, I havent tried replacing it with another PS3 yet, but I'm bringing my Dad's over tommorow to try it. I really want to move it to my room so I can play it more and would EXTREMELLY appreciate if you can help me with this. I you need the model numbers of my TV and PS3 I can give them to you. Thanks!
