well i breed small animals for the pet store im a co-owner of. i have one rat inparticular that just cant get along with any other ones, and isnt too fond of being handled. he is a rescue(someone brought him in) but i refuse to get rid of him even as a feeder until he is socialized because i wouldnt want him to bite anyone. anyways like i said he isnt too fond of being handled, and has to live alone except for one baby who got out of her cage(she is 7 weeks so she can be away from mom) but he is highly protective of her. i found this alittle odd, but i was wondering if anyone had any tricks to use to get him to where he can atleast be handled? thanks in advanced.
