never lets me be myself? its uncomftarble with my parents who always judge me they want me to fllow the mexican style but im emo damn
im not saying mexican is bad i just like emo better and the emo rock and i cant be myself my dad lives in a world of stereotypres
 
Explain to them that you feel like you aren't able to be yourself. Tell them how you feel.
 
well my bf/xbf he paints his nails black and he writes stuff all over his hands and his parents dont say anything about it but me on the other hand yeah not so good XD But u should tell ur parents that ur just being u and if they dont like thats not there problem thats what i tell my parents and they well **** off well seriously ur dad shouldn't be freaking out b/c kids express themselves

It's natural for teens and parents to disagree. it doesn't mean they are judging you. I'm sure there are tons of things about them that you don't agree with, but you still love them. Sit down with them in a non-defensive mode and see what they have to say. Totally hear them out with the understanding that they will return the favor. But don't just wait for your turn. Listen to what they have to say so you can have a rebuttal that makes sense to them.
