usually its hooked up to your remote wire on your headunit if you dont have run you can run it to an ignition in your fusebox, of course thats kinda rigged but it will do the job if u cant find the remote wire

Your remote wire wires in with the remote wire on the back of your deck , normally labeled remote or a blue wire, you would hook up a fuse in between the power wire going from the battery to the amp, but put it like a foot off the battery
ALL remote wires are hooked up from the amp to the headunit. The wire is located in the back of the headunit where you connect the remote wire from the amp. Remember to use negative wire.
