Well, It's my 18th Birthday and I have been wanting one for years. My mom said she was fine with it, but it was my responsibility to take care of it and find out what it needs.
What all will I need? and any kind of guide is helpful.
your gonna need a good sized aquarium (about 70 gallons) and 3 lights (2for the day and a red one at night) and a half log from the pet store to lie on top of to get more sun or go under to get less. you will also need a large dish filled with water, and something on the bottom of the tank (rocks, sand, etc.)
an empty aquarium, sand, mealworms, a dish of water, and a heat lamp that should be turned on for most of the day. you can add some decor in the aquarium, but that's really it.
