What anime is this? It was on adult swim?

It was on really late at night. I was almost completely asleep and then this show came on. I've never been high, but I can imagine this show probably sums up the feeling. There was some little boy. He had an older brother who was in the military I think. His older brother's girlfriend tried raping him or something. And then this girl with pink hair and a guitar comes around and gives the little kid a bump on the head that he has to keep held down or it pops out in a square shape. The girl with pink hair moves in with him. Then some big giant robot things burst out of the kid's forehead and start fighting each other. That's about all I remember. I've only seen that one episode of it. It was so freaking weird. But it's been bugging me since I watched that episode. Anyone know what it is?
