February 16 - Carnival (Mardi Gras, lasts a week though only one day is an official holiday.)

May 1- Labour Day
May 18 - Flag Day
May 22 - Sovereignty and Thanksgiving Day*
June 7 - Corpus Christi
Early July - Pilgrimage of St. D'Eau*
August 15 - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
October 17 - October Death of Jean-Jacques Dessalines
November 1 - All Saints Day
November 2 - All Souls Day
November 18 - Vertieres Day
December 5 - Discovery of Haiti
December 24 - Christmas Eve
