Well, you're building a HUGE assumption into your question:
You're assuming that we WILL find out that Jesus Christ is the only way.
And logically speaking, of course, your assumption may be wrong. That's what most atheists & agnostics are assuming.
However, IF your assumption is correct, and our assumption is wrong, and if we do actually discover that Jesus Christ is the only way, I would guess that many of us will change our minds.
Is that what you were really asking, however? Or is this just a rhetorical question, a question designed to hammer home a particular point of view?
unfortunately for you my friend, there are many, many religions out there that are equally sure that they're right and you're wrong. by being an atheist, i believe in only one less god than you do. if by some astronomically low chance you are actually right, then either your god will be merciful and understand that it is in my nature to question what is supposedly true, or just pitch me into the flames of hell. i don't really care either way and most other atheists don't either, so stop trying to instigate pointless debates on YA! my logical mind cannot believe that there is any kind of deity. it really does not make sense. being tolerant of other people's choices in religion will get you a lot farther than trying to convert people, seriously.
we won't, we will die atheists and have atheist funerals, and we won't go to heaven or hell. because they don't exist. (just thot since you were forcing your religion upon me, i would do the same)
Well first i want three verifiable forms of i.d. Many claim to be "sons of god" and for a price they would show me the way to be part of the family. No thanks. I outgrew fairytales and terror tactics years ago.
Well, we'd say, cool man. But, what will happen when we all arrive in Heaven, & the spirit that greets us says "Jesus, who's he? There's no on here by that name?"
