What are interesting topics to write for a college newspaper?

I'm a college students in Malaysia. Recently i sign up for a college newspaper called The Buzz. I just write one article title how to manage your time in college which is pretty boring topics. I think they rejected my article so i have to write another one. Please help me find some interesting topics to write about college. Please..
 
Look for trends on campus. Observe what students are wearing and doing. Trends are the most read stories because people want to feel as though they belong.
 
I like to watch technology segments on the news at night, sometimes there are some pretty strange new gadgets and inventions to write about. If all else fails, however, why not just browse this site? Maybe you can turn a person's question into an article.
