aight im 16 years old. im a sophmore in high school and i started wrestling in 7th grade. i got into mma around that time. ive been training since then in chicago and my record is 7-0. im currently training at AKA in San Jose california and i specialize in muay thai and bjj. ever since i started i naturally knew what i was doing and have a passion for the sport. so what are my chances now on this current track, and how much longer would i have to train to achieve this goal?

1- You have to be 21 to join.
PROBLEM, thats 5 years away.
2- You need a 3-0 or better MMA record.
PROBLEM, They need to be PROFESSIONAL bouts.
3- You need to fight in front of a UFC agent.
PROBLEM, they go to shows they want to go to and not by invite.
4- Get your fights out there, on TV or on the internet and get more viewers.
PROBLEM, you need a proper media reach, not just a cheap camcorder and a few dozen seats around the ring.
5- Proper Authority is needed. So join an actual MMA gym and fight for them on fight nights.
PROBLEM, it will sometimes take months before you can get a fight. Thats the problem with MMA.

Chances of getting into ufc? More like chances of you getting a real job rather than fight marketing.

just train your a$$ off... keep training.

Get more amateur fights.. then turn pro and have your coaches find you MMA fights in organizations close to your area.

If you keep winning, the UFC will eventually come calling for you, or you can tryout for The Ultimate Fighter if they ever have one for your weight class.

KEEP WRESTLING, its the most important base. Wrestle as much as you can. Do not stop.
