My name is Alex and I am planning a Euro-trip with my girlfriend in May. We are starting to look at booking a train from Rome to Venice, S Lucia. Unfortunately I can not find any direct trains to S Lucia from Rome. I can however find a cheap train from Rome to Venice, Mestre. I am wondering if it would be possible to get from Venice Mestre to Venice S Lucia by any sort of transportation? Also if you could give me ballpark prices and the amount of time it would take to get from Mestre to S Lucia please let me know.
