What are other ways of greeting your co-workers?

It's getting really awkward & boring now, everytime i come in for my shift because i really have nothing else to say to them (as we don't work in the same department & they're older than me). i always have to pass by them all to get to the back store office where i work

and all i say is "hey!" and smile

but i want to say something else because they're probably annoyed or bored

so, what other ways can i greet them ? what should i say ?

refer to the time of day like "good evening"

try "how's it going?"

or

How was your day?

"How's it goin?"

"Hey, how are you?"

"Mornin"

"Good Morning"

"wata-go-on? Home slice?" <--- I don't say that too often

I usually say "Good morning" or "Hey, how's it going?" or "Hi, how are ya?" those types of things. Just be yourself and act natural and it won't seem awkward.
