Currently at t-mobile with a new two year contract you can get the HTC HD2 (brand new) for $200 or you can get the same phone refurbished for $50.
Is it wise to pay a fourth of the original price and get a refurbished one? What are the risks?
What exactly are the refurbished phones: are they phones that people bought that broke? or are they phones that just had some minor malfunction?
Also, what condition can you expect to geth the refurbished phone in: is it possibe that the phone may be all scratched up? or does it have to look like new?
As much info as possible is appreciated. Personal experiences with refurbished phones directly from t-mobile are also welcome.
