I'm going to have a "friendly" boxing session soon with an untrained fighter. I've done martial arts for several years and have done a fair amount of sparring (face contact included) before (not just tag-you're-it sparring, but hitting and getting hit).
But this time I cannot use legs, takedowns, etc, only punching.
For those who are boxers, what are some good strategies to use against an untrained fighter? Should I just focus on getting good solid hits in (as most likely they will be swinging wildly)? Any info appreciated!
