Simple, Easy to do, lost cost and taste and good are healthy Thanks for your time.
Can you also tell me how to make and what i will need

Roast chicken w vegs.

Whole chicken, washed and rinsed.

Oven on 350 to pre-heat.

Cut root veg - I like carrots, parsnips, turnips, celery, potatoes...

Place vegetables around chicken n roast, 20 min per pound.

You may put oil, butter or dressing on chicken to baste. :) Juice is also good.

Bacon under chicken skin is delicious.

Simplest is probably spaghetti with tomato sauce.
Boil the pasta 8-10 minutes until just tender.
Use a canned tomato sauce with canned mushrooms.
Add chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, & basil.
If brave, you can sauté chicken breast or shrimp.
Serve on top of the pasta & sauce.
A simple salad will round out the meal, with good bread.
You can turn the bread into garlic bread.

i'm scottish and i make a great cottage pie..basically ground beef and potatoes,if its for 2 a pound of beef will do,brown it then add-1 chopped onion,2 chopped carrots, glass red wine or port, half pint beef stock,2 bay leaves, teaspoon dried thyme, teaspoon dried rosemaryclove grated garlic, let it simmer till liquid almost gone then add little cornstarch and water till thick, add plenty of fresh parsley, handful frozen peas and while you have been doing this have some potatoes on the go,mash them spread beef filling out into a dish, cover with the mashed potato and put in oven till golden brown, serve with crusty bread, really hearty, delicious and plus once you have the wine and herbs in,they re in your store cupboard to use again and again

I would broil some chicken or fish and sweet potatoes or eggplant, and a green salad on the side. To prep, preheat your broiler. Peel your sweets if you like, cut them into wedges like a steak fry. Eggplant trimmed and cut the long way about a half inch thick. Arrange everything on a single layer on a sheet pan. Rub them lightly with olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh herbs and minced garlic if you like. Meats can be done the same way and the same pan. Broil about 4 inches from the heat for about 20 minutes? Pay attention.

Serve with any salad veggies you like, start with a lettuce of some sort, add whatever you like. Dress lightly with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. And/or you could do a steamed veg like broccoli, green beans, or snow peas, or cauliflower, carrots, zucchini.

Get a single dessert from a bakery and split it? Or maybe split a pint of sugar free or reduced fat ice cream, or a pint of sorbet or a bit of fresh fruit.

------------ different meal idea ----------------

You might also like a chunky tomato soup with fresh basil, split a bakery bagel (maybe flavored?) that you have toasted (instead of greasy grilled cheese and in place of croutons).

Start with some olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, canned diced tomatoes in a soup pot, let them get hot, add a can of chicken stock and a small can of low fat evaporated milk. Stir together and let it simmer. For the bagel, rub the bread with a garlic clove, then brush with a bit of olive oil, some parmesan cheese...toaster oven or broiler.

------------------------------------

You can make a small pot of soup. Start with some olive oil small cubes of chicken, let that cook at least half way. Add a small chopped onion, some garlic, let them get clear. Add some quick barley or some penne or orzo pasta, and some carrot coins, some cabbage shreds, them get coated, then add a small amount of chicken stock to deglaze the pan, and then more chicken stock to cover everything. Cook everything through, watch to add liquid if it starts to get low. Serve with a salad.

--------

You can do tuna salad served with pita or tortillas and cherry tomatoes.

-----------

You can make an egg strand soup...start with a rich chicken stock, heat it gently over medium, then make a scrambled egg mixture and drizzle it into the broth, allowing it to ribbon up. Garnish with fresh scallion or chive. Serve with bakery bought croissant that you can split, or a chewy bread, and a salad.

-------

You can make omelets...filled with lean meats, veggies, and a little cheese. Serve with tortillas on the side, or serve up some crepes or whole wheat/oatmeal pancakes with pureed fruit for dessert.

-----------------

You can also try your hand at "en pappiote" May have spelled that wrong. It is basically fish or chicken and veg baked together with liquid in a parchment pouch. Youtube has plenty of videos of it I am sure. It is impressive and easy.

--------------

You can make ground turkey meatballs, braise them in tomato sauce, and serve on a sub, over rice or pasta.

----------

You can make homemade pizza. Crust can be anything from flatbread, English muffins, etc. Add healthy toppings, a little parm, and bake off, serve with salad and lowfat ice cream banana milkshakes for dessert.
