What are some good study tips on studying for my learner's permit test?

Yesterday I wrote out a study guide with questions and answers. Today I am going to go get flash cards. I have 42 questions. I want to take the test in March. But not sure what date yet. Its only costing me 20.00 to take the test. And I want to pass this time. I failed the test 2 other times.
 
Read the book 2 times the day before and 1 more time right before you go take it.
 
Read a portion of the drivers hand book every night before you go to bed. I heard this helps to memorize what you have read.
