What are some good-working seperate shampoo, conditioner, and styling...

...products for super curly hair? Ok, so my hair is extremely curly, it's dark brown and not african-american, it's soft. But I haven't found any seriously good products that'll protect/add shine/make soft for my hair (that's shampoo/conditioner and styling products). I've been using the Pantene Curls collection, but I'm not really seeing the best results. Is there anything out there??
Also, my hair is very thick and medium length, if that helps at all.

aussie has a moist shampoo and conditioner. as far as mousse goes herbal essences has a great line of products with various holds.
