this is what ive been eating for snacks on my diet
beef jerky (good protien source)
apples with peanut butter
apples with cheddar or gouda cheese
whole wheat crackers with sliced turkey
unsweetened natural applesauce
frozen grapes or blueberries with yougurt
healthy snacks are snacks that have a lot of nutrients and fewer calories. to get the most out of your snack you'll want to include several food groups into one. obviously if you're trying to lose weight you'll want to lay off the carbs. this is because your body uses carbs for energy before it uses fat. if you have no carbs for your body to use and you need more energy to function your body will start to burn off the fat.
i suggest that you try:
-celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins
-carrots with salad dressing
-trail mix (homemade, with just nuts, seeds and raisins. no chocolate.)
-apple with peanut butter
-banana and yogurt
-fiber one granola bar
it really depends on what you like. there are so many healthy snack options out there. these are just a few of my favorite, as long as you make healthy choices to include in your snack and don't over weight you'll be fine. also remember healthy eating doesnt necessarily mean you'll lose weight. you need to excercise too.
