what are some nice sport touring bikes that are 2 cyl (for insurance purposes)?

just what the question asks. I'm new to riding and just want something that looks like a street bike but not too expensive to insure.
 
There are 2 cylinder street bikes ranging in size from 250 - 1200 cc that are sport bikes that can be used for touring. European bikes like BMW and Ducati are two that come to mind. Then Kawasaki has 250, 500 and 650 twins that also fit the bill. There are other Euro and Jap bikes that are similar, just search the web for each of the major manufactures product lines.
 
There are many twin cylinder machines out there but you need to specify the capacity.

Try and see if you can get a Yamaha 650 twin of some vintage. They were very good bikes and should come to you at a reasonable cost.
