What are some of your favorite rumors you've heard about different musical artists?

My two favorites growing up were:

Marilyn Manson is Paul from "The Wonder Years" TV show.

and

Michael Diamond (Beastie Boys) and Dustin Diamond (Screech form "Saved by the Bell') are brothers and Neil Diamond is their dad.

Neither of these are true but alot of people used to believe them.
